• School re-opens on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 for the next half term.

• Year 11 Parents’ Evening: A-side takes place on Thursday 4th November and B-side on Thursday 18th November. Bookings for appointments close on Tuesday, 2nd November online; if, after this, you would like appointments please ring the school and ask for Mrs Maudsley. For A-side parents please ensure you have your details ready to log on in good time for your appointments on Thursday.

• Year 10 English: After half term, Year 10 students will be studying ‘A Christmas Carol’. They will need their own copies of the text for annotating. There is a study guide and workbook but these are not essential. The English Department recommends the following versions:

• Year 11: College Lunch Time Drop-in Sessions will commence Wednesday 3rd November and will run every Wednesday until Christmas break. A range of colleges will visit school each Wednesday lunch time to speak with Year 11 students to help with applications, queries and to provide any support needed. Wednesday 3rd November will see Warrington Vale Royal College, Winstanley College and UTC Warrington in attendance. Students should make their way to C109 during lunch to access the support available.

• Girls’ Sport: Round 3 of ESFA Cup, Date to be confirmed. Home fixture on either the 3rd/4th Nov, 3pm Kick Off. More details to follow.

• PP Notice: The Girls Network Workshop takes place on Tuesday 2nd November. Year 11 students on the programme to attend. 2-7pm at Culcheth High School.
